How to effectively protect your eyes and face?

The collection includes clear safety glasses for general work, welding glasses with advertised UV/IR protection, and a welding mask equipped with a headlamp. It allows you to choose appropriate coverage for splashes, dust, and operations generating intense light, without confusing general protection with specialized equipment.

The four essential checks

  • Primary risk: Identify solid projections, dust, splashes, or welding radiation. Clear glasses can never replace a filtering screen designed for arc welding.
  • Coverage: Temples, wrap-around design, and full face shields protect from different angles. Also check compatibility with helmets, respirators, and hearing protection.
  • Vision and comfort: A clear field of vision, a stable nose bridge, and pressure-free temples facilitate continuous wear. Fogging or poor fit encourages removal of protection.
  • Product information: Consult the standards, tints, and advertised uses on the product sheet.

Clear glasses, tinted glasses, or mask?

For drilling, light sanding, handling, and small jobs with a risk of particles, wrap-around safety glasses are the first level to consider. Welding glasses are intended for operations compatible with their indicated tint and range of use. To cover a larger part of the face during welding, the mask provides a more extensive barrier; the integrated lamp facilitates preparation but does not provide filtration.

Adjustment, cleaning, and replacement

Adjust the protection before starting and check that it stays in place when you lower your head. Clean the lenses with a non-abrasive method, store them away from scratches, and replace any cracked, deeply scratched, or deformed lens. Do not drill or modify a frame.
